Initial Consultation: Finding the Right Fit


Starting therapy is a brave and important step, and it’s natural to want to feel sure that you’re choosing the right person to support you. That’s why I offer an initial consultation, a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity for us to meet, talk about what’s brought you here, and explore how therapy could help.


This session is a chance for you to:


  • Get a sense of what it’s like to work with me and see if you feel comfortable in the space.

  • Share a little about what you’d like support with, at your own pace.

  • Ask any questions about therapy, my approach, or the process.

  • Begin to decide whether we’d be a good fit to work together.


The initial consultation is 30 minutes and takes place online or in-person. There’s no obligation to book further sessions if it doesn’t feel right, what matters most is that you find a therapist who feels like the right match for you.


If we decide to move forward, we’ll agree on a plan that works best for your needs, whether that’s short-term, goal-focused therapy or longer-term, open-ended support.
